This is what Arcane Visions does with the mixed media portrait commission — a technique that combines the precision of colored pencil with the atmospheric depth of watercolor to produce something neither medium could achieve alone. The face emerges from the paper with warmth and specificity: layered strokes of color building tone and dimension, the eyes rendered with the kind of attention that makes them look back at you.
