The Art
Each shoe is a canvas unto itself, hand-painted in vibrant, richly layered detail by Debbi of Arcane Visions Studios.
The left shoe presents the Kabbalistic Tree of Life rendered in a startlingly original idiom: the ten Sephiroth appear as luminous, jewel-colored apples — each in its correct color correspondence, from the brilliant white of Kether at the crown through the full rainbow descent of the middle pillar to the verdant green of Malkuth at the base. A coral snake — banded in red, black, and white, one of the most ancient and potent symbols of Hermetic wisdom, the Kundalini current, and alchemical transformation — coils through and around the spheres, suggesting the serpent of the Garden, the Nehushtan of Moses, and the caduceus of Hermes. The Mars glyph presides above, and the ground shifts from rose to aquamarine in a wash of alchemical color.
The right shoe proclaims the Rosicrucian mystery openly and boldly: the letters R and C flank a glorious red rose in full bloom — the Rose Cross, emblem of the invisible fraternity that has shaped Western esoteric thought for four centuries. Below, a golden hexagram — the Seal of Solomon, the interlaced triangles of fire and water, As Above So Below — is centered with a wheel of light, surrounded by the alchemical glyphs of the four elements. Scrollwork and botanical detail fill every remaining inch of canvas.
Together the two shoes form a unified Hermetic statement: Kabbalah and Rosicrucianism, the Tree and the Rose, the serpent of wisdom and the seal of the macrocosm — the complete symbolic vocabulary of the Western Mystery Tradition, worn on your feet as you walk your initiatory path.
